Nick D. Anthony is a San Antonio native with deep family roots going back over a century. As a third-generation restaurateur, he descends from a family of entrepreneurs, cultivating a deep passion for people that he brings to his business as a commercial real estate specialist. As part of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alamo City, Nick balances his background of entrepreneurship and his 41 years of experience in hospitality to enthusiastically assist his clients toward a broad range of real estate goals.
Nick holds a BA from the University of Texas, a master’s degree in urban affairs and planning from Boston University, and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University. After spending five years in the nonprofit housing and community development sector and eight years working in his family's business, he returned to his entrepreneurial roots, developing and expanding his own restaurant chain — which he continues to advise. His academic tenure honed his research, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving skills, while his hospitality experience enriched his people skills, such as listening to and understanding his clients to better anticipate, guide, negotiate, and resolve transaction details.
Nick has covered both sellers’ and buyers’ side transactions as well as landlord/tenant representation. These transactions have included, but are not limited to, industrial flex warehouse, corporate office, central business district retail/warehouse, historical structures, commercial development land, retail leasing, rural commercial improved land, farm and ranch, restaurants, and one single-family portfolio (as executive staff of a local not-for-profit). Nick services central Texas, including Waco, Austin (MSA). San Marcos, New Braunfels, Cibolo/Selma/Seguin, San Antonio, Boerne/Comfort/Waring, Bandera/Pipe Creek, Three Rivers/George West, Cuero, Yorktown, and Leakey.
Committed to community strength, Nick has held leadership roles in various local nonprofits and supports organizations such as Alpha Home, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Wounded Warriors. He is an active member of multiple real estate and restaurant associations at local, state, and national levels.
Together with his wife, Mary, Nick has had the pleasure of raising six boys. He and his family enjoy live music, traveling, and catching the latest movie for a relaxing night at home.
