A proud South Texas native and graduate of Cuero High School, Will went on to attend Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
After college, Will began his career as a Juvenile Probation Officer for DeWitt County before joining the U.S. Border Patrol, where he served for nearly 25 years, working in communities from Starr and Hidalgo County all the way to Duval, Jim Wells, Live Oak, McMullen, and Webb Counties.
Will retired from the Freer Border Patrol Station, where he enjoyed working as the Ranch Liaison Manager, building strong relationships with landowners and ranch managers throughout South Texas. His time in the field, paired with a lifelong love of the outdoors, gives him a genuine understanding of the land and the people who care for it.
Will lives in Goliad with his wife, Heather, and takes pride in staying closely connected to the South Texas communities he serves. They have two adult children, Bryant, who recently completed his service in the U.S. Air Force, and Caroline, who is beginning her career as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
